Slow Living: a Long-Term Pattern for My Tiny World

Hello February !

It’s another new month, and I’m truly enjoying the new year by walking at a slower pace. 💖

1. From Tutorials to Companionship

In the past few years, I was quite anxious and eager to prove that I could do many things. I pushed myself hard and tried to share everything with everyone. Eventually, this exhausted me and made it difficult to update my channel consistently.

As my career in real life has been changing quickly, I’ve found myself longing even more for a cozy tiny world—a place to pause and breathe. Slowly, I began to realize the power of companionship: simply being there, and staying with myself.

I wouldn’t say my past efforts were wasted. On the contrary, they trained me and gave me the chance to learn many new skills. Now, I can leverage those experiences in a better way. What matters more to me is that I can keep moving—gently and steadily.

I’m still exploring better ways to film my work, and I’m excited to try new things. This time, however, I remind myself to find a way to stay longer, rather than trying to impress my audience.

2. Enjoying Seasonal Fun

One thing I’ve always wanted to try is living with the seasons. That means celebrating Easter in my tiny world, enjoying summer BBQs and beach days, watching autumn turn leaves into shades of gold and welcoming Halloween customs, and finally embracing the holiday season with my little Christmas cabinet.

There are so many beautiful things and quiet moments in daily life, yet I often forget to slow down and truly enjoy them. After many trials in my tiny world, I feel it’s time to slow down and live in the moment.

I plan to share more small projects on my channel. Sometimes it might be a quick DIY project, sometimes a lovely tiny gift from a friend. I want to record my real-life journey as it gently intertwines with my miniature world.

3. Focusing on One Social Media

Finally, I’ve realized that maintaining too many social media platforms is simply too much for me. What I’m looking for doesn’t truly fit everywhere.

While I’m still experimenting, I’ve decided to focus on YouTube during this transition period. I’ll share both long and short videos of my current projects, and I’ll also post photos and quiet thoughts in the Community tab. I have a lot to say—so I believe I’ll be “talking” quite a bit through posts. 😝

If you’re tired of reality, you’re not alone.

I’m trying to build a cozy tiny place for myself, in a long-term and gentle way. You’re always welcome to join me in my small world.

It’s not just a miniature world. It’s my big dream.

See you there. ☕️
