As a passionate dollhouse creator, I’ve always approached my craft with a creative mindset. However, I realized that to turn my hobby into a sustainable business, I needed a deeper understanding of marketing. Enrolling in a marketing course has been a game-changer, providing me with valuable insights that I’m excited to share.

1. The Marketing Funnel: A New Perspective

One of the most significant takeaways from my course is the concept of the marketing funnel. Marketing funnel includes Awareness, Consideration, Conversion, and Loyalty. Understanding the customer journey from awareness to loyalty has helped me reevaluate my strategies.

By focusing on attracting potential customers, nurturing their interest, and converting them into loyal fans, I can create a more effective marketing actions for my miniature dollhouse brand.

2. Setting SMART goal:

Defining clear and achievable goals is essential for any business. The SMART goal framework has been instrumental in helping me prioritize my efforts. By setting specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound objectives, I can track my progress and make necessary adjustments. For instance, increasing my YouTube watch hours to 2000 by the end of the year is a SMART goal that aligns with my overall growth strategy.

3. Learning by Doing: The Power of Experimentation

I’ve come to realize the importance of experimentation and audience feedback. Setting up marketing experiments, such as trying different content formats or engaging with my audience through polls and surveys, has proven invaluable. By understanding their preferences and reactions, I can refine my strategies and create content that truly resonates.

I initially was overly concerned with follower counts and engagement metrics. However, I’ve learned that focusing solely on numbers can be counterproductive. Embarking on a marketing course has been a pivotal step in transforming my concerns into strategic approaches.
