So, this year I’ve got this one plan, you know? I’m all about enjoying every season and hitting up festivals all year round.
We just decked out our places for Valentine’s Day, and now we’re gearing up for the next one: a Japanese festival called Hinamatsuri, also known as “Doll’s Festival”.
What’s Japan Hinamatsuri (Doll’s Festival) about?
I’m all about those miniature dollhouse things, and this festival is like a dream come true for a fan like me. It’s all about displaying mini dolls and tiny furniture – what more could a miniature dollhouse lover ask for?
Check out my video below – this thing is legit, with several tiers of stands. At the top, you’ve got the king and queen, followed by three sitting ladies, five musicians, two senior officers, and three young servants. This is the mini version, about 30cm x 30cm x 30cm. I snagged it on Amazon, straight from Japan. Here is the Amazon link: https://a.co/d/c7wxMCV
Make my mini palace for Hinamatsuri
Every girl has her own vision of the doll world, right? Well, this festival is like the perfect way to show it off. My little plan? Someday, I wanna build a palace-shaped Hina stand for this festival one day. It’d be awesome to create an Asian-style miniature dollhouse again. Consider it my little promise for next year’s Doll’s festival.
This might be new to some folks, so I’ve included a link below about this festival. If you’re into Japanese culture and love miniature dolls, this could be the start of a whole new world for you!
